Partnerships

HAFWAY works in close partnership with a number of organisations and agencies:

GMP - the local PCSO’s regularly visit HAFWAY sessions, getting to know the young people and

working alongside our youth workers to help create a safer neighbourhood.

THE LOCAL CHURCH - HAFWAY works in partnership with and receives support from the Diocese of Manchester including the Bishop of Bolton, the Archdeacon, the Diocesan Youth Officer and the clergy and congregations of the West Bolton team.

HBS (Halliwell Befriending Service) - We work with HBS to deliver intergenerational projects. We currently run a community afternoon tea 4 times a year where HAFWAY young people make and serve afternoon tea to the older members of our local community.

LOCAL SCHOOLS - HAFWAY works in partnership with the local schools to support and contribute to curricula activities whilst building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Bolton Wanderers Community Trust - We have a great partnership with BWCT as we deliver a weekly sports session together as well as other events and activities throughout the year.

MIDDLE PARK CAMP - HAFWAY is involved in leading and developing Middle Park Camp in Welshpool alongside Urban Saints and Young Life.

URBAN SHIFT - We are proud to say that each year a number of HAFWAY young people have the opportunity to take part in a mission trip to South Africa run by Urban Shift. The young people work hard to fundraise through a variety of community activities in order to go on a life changing trip to help those far less fortunate than ourselves.

BOLTON COUNCIL AND COUNCILLORS - HAFWAY receives support and recognistion from both the local council and councillors for all the work we do within our community.
